Reaching Into Communities

The medicines that treat pain are also affecting communities at large when these medicines are used irresponsibly.  Prescription drug abuse has escalated to epidemic proportions. Many of our partnerships focus on educating communities through programs that teach responsible behavior from a young age and encourage communication about prescription drug use between parents and their kids.

King is partnering with Partnership for a Drug-Free America on their Time to Talk™ campaign. The program urges parents to keep their kids healthy and drug free through regular communication with helpful tips and tools.

Drugs4Real is a free, interactive, web-based drug prevention program that teaches early teens, aged 10 to 14 years, about the influence of alcohol and other drugs and provides real-life solutions to promote a drug-free lifestyle.
